Chapter 02
A Vision for Somali Youth
Young people are among Somalia's greatest assets. Their creativity, ambition, and determination have the potential to shape a stronger and more prosperous future. However, many young people continue to face barriers to quality education, practical skills development, employment, and professional opportunities.

Youthup Foundation was envisioned to help address these challenges by creating opportunities that enable Somali youth to learn, grow, and reach their potential.

We believe that education and practical skills can transform lives. By promoting digital literacy, professional development, mentorship, leadership, and entrepreneurship, Youthup Foundation aims to help young people prepare for a rapidly changing world.

Our vision is to connect students, recent graduates, young professionals, and aspiring entrepreneurs with learning opportunities and resources that support their ambitions.
